How it works
We listened to suggestions from our partner Volunteer Centers on how they think Truist should increase their visibility.These partners said, "Go out and create a national interest for how people find volunteer opportunities. Then share any revenue you receive from national partners with those of us who've agreed to share our data."
That's exactly what we did!
Not only do we listen to the suggestions and ideas from our partners, we also reward those Volunteer Centers and United Ways who have agreed to participate.
At Volunteer Solutions we recognize the value and cost associated with managing a database of volunteer opportunities. To ensure that all Volunteer Centers are recognized for making their data accessible to regional and national corporations we will:
Sharing your data will give employees around the country read access to this information, and will allow them to search and to browse through your information. You retain full ownership and administrative rights to your data.
- Recognize your Center on every agency and opportunity page as the organization that is managing this listing. This will be in a form of a link that will then go back to the homepage of your site.
- Report back on referrals initiated from the opportunities you manage.
- Provide opportunities to generate revenue - Not only do you have the opportunity to resell a local version of Volunteer Solutions to corporations and Universities but you also will receive a discount on your annual licensing fee based on the revenue generated from the sale of this application. All corporations that have access to this Community Volunteer Database pay a premium to access that data. 100% of the premium paid is then split between the Centers who have agreed to share data.
